Moradabad (Desk):In protest against the Bareilly violence, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) staged a demonstration today at the Moradabad Collectorate premises. Under the leadership of District President Mohid Fargani, party workers submitted a memorandum addressed to the President of India through the District Magistrate. The memorandum demanded that the ongoing atrocities and harassment against the Muslim community in the state be stopped and that impartial action be taken. Mohid Fargani stated that under the BJP government, “justice has been replaced by batons and bulldozers,” which poses a serious threat to democracy. He further alleged that the administration is adopting a biased attitude, creating an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among ordinary citizens. AIMIM warned that if the situation does not improve, a state-wide agitation will be launched.Those present on the occasion included District President Mohid Fargani, Atiqur Rahman, Tariq Anwar, Irfan, Talib Malik, and others.
